We are sorry to anounce that the 50-Fifty will not be visiting North Dakota and Minnesota this May. We hope that possibly towards the Fall of 2011, but definately next year.
After years of competing in various timed competitions for far away fellowships, worthless certificates and of course the "ever awesome" bragging rights we, at The 50 Fifty Reel Challenge, recognize the need for winning filmmakers to walk away with more than just their boosted pride. In fact, we're putting money where our mouth is... in your hands! That being said, we are giving away 50% of the box office sales of your city to the Best Film!
March 1st, we open registration for two of our cities; Fargo, North Dakota and Minneapolis, Minnesota Last year filmmakers from across both states came to participate in the first ever 50-Fifty Reel Challenge. Minneapolis has asked to free up their summer for other things this year. So we’re coming early this year to the Twin Cities.
And thus it begins… we look forward to the cities that have agreed with our vision. That have invited us to become apart of their film community. It’s going to be an awesome year, we hope you’ll join us.
